Pens, Maximo Park, new uniforms, and Comments- in short, the usual nonsense.

So, my pen died and made me all sad and mopey for... all of five seconds. I'll have to go find a pack of pens whilst school supply foraging since there seems to be an alarming lack of functional black ballpoint pens in my house.

As for the Maximo Park part- I heard part of one of their songs(Books from Boxes) at the tail end of a Viva la Vida music video. Since it caught my attention I decided to search the song on YouTube. The first couple times I heard it, I have to admit I liked it- but not that much. Yet there was something about it and I kept listening to it anyway. Now I can't stop listening to it. I bought a copy of the song of iTunes and even when I'm listening to another song I hear Books from Boxes playing in my head.
Night falls

Uniforms- It turns out that now my little brother is in the seventh grade (when did that happen!? )He'll have to wear a tie and button down shirt on Fridays. What makes me so happy about this- apart from my brother's misery- is that he'll be wearing a Toby tie! I will have to steal it and wear to school sometime so that everyone can bask in its glory(?).
Oh, and did I mention I'm trying to get my mom to have my brother's hair cut like this -> [link] . But it might not happen, not because my mom thinks its ridiculous but because its a tad longer than the school dress code allows (covers eyebrows).
